Traditional & Custom Ceremonies
TRADITIONAL LAKOTA CEREMONIES
After many years of sitting in Traditional Cereomies, Inípi Purification (Sweat Lodge), Wiwáŋyaŋg Wačhípi (Sundance, Pledge & Pierce) HaŋbléčheyA (Vision Quest) I was offered a Čhaŋnúŋpa-wakȟáŋ (Sacred Pipe) and asked if i choose to accept the responsibilites of carrying a pipe. I chose this way of life.
I have learned much, but the more i learn the more i realize how little i really know. I do my best to walk in the good way each day and be of service to The People - All People.
I am an Intercessor for the Sweat Lodge and hold ceremomy as often as I can, sometimes at the request of someone in need specifically, many times for brothers and sisters who need to pray and purifiy. It is a powerful ceremony and I am humbled by what I've witnessed inside of the ceremony and in the people who have attended. Such beauty and blessings!
Any traditional ceremonies are done in the Lakota tradition with great respect for the spirits, for those who have come before us and especially for those who kept these ceremonies alive when it was against federal law to be engaged in this life way; which could incur punishments not limited to death, placed into an insane asylum and starvation of their family.
We have had brothers and sisters from the Lakota, Apache, Lumbee, Cayuga, Quechua, Cherokee and a many other native nations attend and pray, and have regular Native attendees.
Many whites and members of other races also come regularly and are welcome.
There is NEVER a monetary charge to attend a traditional ceremony. However, donations are accepted in the form of tobacco, firewood, traditional medicines, money, etc to help keep the lodge going.

CUSTOM CEREMONIES
Custom ceremonies are something i was shown by different Spirits. Sometimes they will show me a ceremony and im told use it to help others to heal and release. Occasionally someone has an issue where nothing i have been shown applies and i ask to be shown what is needed for that particular person. Sometimes its a Niasziih Healing, other times im shown a ceremony specifically for them. These ceremonies have been effective each time.
